Plein Air Sketches

Plein air painting is the act of leaving the studio behind and painting outdoors in the landscape.  The artist is painting from direct observation and responding to the ever changing environment.  Sometimes standing in vast landscapes can be overwhelming.  I cannot compete with Mother Nature but I can try to capture small slices of her wonder.

On a nice day you will find me on the concession roads just North of London's city limits.
